Who We Are

The Minnesota Film & TV Board (MFTVB) serves as Minnesota’s film commission. We are the first stop for commercial productions, TV series, feature films and documentaries looking to do business in Minnesota. We’re also a resource for Minnesota’s production industry, including its vast crew base. To view the many talented professionals who make up our industry, please visit MPG Online, our guide to Minnesota’s production community.

MN Dialog is MFTVB’s blog. Here you will find news, reviews, event details and insights into the moving image industry in our state and beyond. Whenever possible, we invite Minnesota filmmakers, screenwriters and other industry professionals to appear as guest bloggers in order to provide varied points of view and opinions on the industry.

MN Dialog Contributors

Rebecca Fritz MN DialogRebecca Collins is the Communications Coordinator for MFTVB and she blogs each week about film-happenings, the production industry and the Minnesotan film-TV-commercial makers who are breaking new ground. She enjoys writing, reading and drinking tea but – surprise – prefers dogs over cats. When she’s not at MFTVB, she’s blogging on Not Shallow, eating Mexican food or riding her bike.

Chris Blog 2010 175

Christopher K. Grap (rhymes with drop) is originally from La Crosse, WI. He has 13 years of film production experience working on over 40 films working as an assistant director, production coordinator and in special fx make-up with credits ranging from bad (Rob Schneider’s The Hot Chick, Mimic 2) to worse (The Wedding Crashers, Mimic 3). He has been on staff at the MN Film & TV Board since August of 2006 and that’s probably why he got asked to be a part of this blog. When not on the clock, Grap can be found watching bad movies, searching the city for action figures and playing Rock Band with his son, Dax.
