Sullivan's Jewel Box
The last masterpiece in the career of Louis Sullivan, the man who invented the skyscraper and is widely regarded as our most influential architect, sits at the intersection of Broadway and Cedar in downtown Owatonna. The Farmers' National Bank opened it's doors in July 1908. So impressive is the architecture that it is one of only four buildings in the United States to be featured on a postage stamp.
