The MN Iron Range Film & TV Production Incentive

This 20% reimbursement can be used in conjunction with Snowbate.

The MN Iron Range Film & TV Production Incentive exists to help develop and maintain a strong production industry presence that will contribute substantially to the economy in the Iron Range service area in northeastern Minnesota. Twenty percent (20%) of eligible expenses that originate within the Iron Range service area will be considered for reimbursement after economic activity has occurred and all financial obligations have been paid and verified.

City of Austin Film Incentive

This 10% reimbursement can be used in conjunction with Snowbate.

Some regional features of Austin, Minnesota include:

  • Historical Main Street
  • 500+ acre nature center & 28 city parks
  • 40+ acres of fairgrounds
  • Rural and agricultural scenes
  • Atmospheric Theater built in 1929
  • 4500 sq ft historic home built in 1871

Shamrock Film Incentive

The city of Maple Lake has created a film rebate program to encourage movie and television production in the city and to support local businesses that can service the film industry.  The program is a 15% rebate for up to $50,000 in qualified production costs (max. $7,500 per production).
