MN Film & TV Student Grant Application Now Available

Minnesota Film & TV, recognizing that the film and television production industry needs to do more to support Black, Indigenous, people of color (BIPOC) students, will award up to three $500 student grants this year to BIPOC students specifically for the completion and/or public exhibition of a student film or tv project. Eligible projects include films, documentaries, new media or other audio/visual works derived from coursework through enrollment at a college, university, vocation or trade school located in Minnesota. Grant funds may be used to cover costs of completion of a student project, or for costs related to exhibiting a project at a festival that showcases the student’s completed work. The grant application and supporting materials must be submitted using this form by March 1, 2023. Funds will be distributed no later than May 31.
